Web to PDF: Convert Any Webpage to a PDF Document
Web pages don't stay online forever — and even when they do, they're not always easy to share, print, or archive. Web to PDF in PDF Translator Pro converts any webpage into a clean PDF document in seconds. Paste a URL, choose your options, and download a portable version of the page you can keep, share, or process further.
Whether you need to save an article for offline reading, archive a webpage for reference, share online content as an attachment, or convert a web-based report into a printable document, Web to PDF handles it with a single URL.
How to Convert a Webpage to PDF
The process takes under a minute:
- Open PDF Translator Pro and navigate to Web to PDF from the main menu.
- Enter the URL of the webpage you want to convert in the Webpage URL field. You can paste the full URL or just the domain — the tool will format it automatically.
- Choose your options: toggle Include Images and Use Page Numbers on or off as needed.
- Optionally, click the output filename to rename the PDF before downloading.
- Click Convert to PDF. The page is captured on the server and the PDF downloads automatically when ready.
Conversion Options
Two toggles let you control the output:
- Include Images — when enabled, images from the webpage are included in the PDF. Disable this to produce a lighter, text-only document — useful when images are decorative or you need a smaller file.
- Use Page Numbers — when enabled, page numbers are added to the PDF. Useful for longer pages that span multiple printed pages, making navigation easier.
Both options are enabled by default. Adjust them before clicking Convert — they cannot be changed after processing starts.
URL Input
Paste or type the full URL of the webpage. If you enter a URL without a protocol (e.g. example.com), the tool automatically prepends https://. If you enter a domain without www., that is added as well. The field validates the URL format before submitting — if the URL is not valid, an error is shown before any credits are spent.
Output File
The converted document is saved as webpage.pdf by default. To use a different name, click the filename shown in the panel before converting — a rename dialog will open where you can type any name you prefer.
Cost
Converting a webpage to PDF costs 2 credits. The cost and your current credit balance are displayed in the panel before you confirm, so there are no surprises. If your balance is insufficient, the exact shortfall is shown and the app takes you to the packages page.
Tips for Best Results
- Use the full URL including the path. If you want a specific article or page rather than a site's homepage, make sure the full URL is entered — not just the domain.
- Disable images for text-heavy pages. News articles, documentation, and reports often convert well without images, producing a smaller and cleaner PDF focused on the content.
- Enable page numbers for long pages. Web pages with lots of content can span many PDF pages. Page numbers make the output easier to navigate and reference.
- Rename the output to reflect the content. The default filename is webpage.pdf — not very descriptive if you're archiving multiple pages. Give each one a meaningful name before downloading.
- Combine with Translate PDF for foreign-language pages. Convert the webpage to PDF first, then use Translate PDF to translate the result into your language — a clean workflow for international content.
Also Available on the Mobile App
Web to PDF is also available in the PDF Translator Pro mobile app. If you're on your phone or tablet, you can enter a URL and convert any webpage to PDF directly from your device — the same credit balance applies across both platforms. Check out how to use this feature in the app in this article.
Part of the PDF Translator Pro Suite
